Come to a night of short films about the problem of clothing waste and how we can reduce clothing waste going into landfill, organised by the SEE Change WasteLess group. There will be no charge for the night.
The films include:
Textile Mountain – a European produced film that looks at the problem of sending used clothing overseas to Africa. Do we really know where our clothes go when we donate them to charity?
From the War on Waste – Australian emphasis. Some segments looking at the ultra-fast clothing industry as well as a fun look at some ideas on how to make the most of existing clothing.
There will also be an opportunity to share ideas on how we can reduce clothing waste going into landfill.
