Active Travel

Reducing emissions from transport is a key challenge for the SEE Change community.

Getting people to adopt active travel methods like walking, cycling or public transport rather than using a car is vital. By choosing to walk, bike or catch public transport rather than drive your car you will be fitter, happier and healthier.

The Canberra Electric Bike Library

At the Canberra Electric Bike Library, we have different styles of bikes that people can borrow and try for minimal cost. Whether you would like to try a bike for carrying heavy loads, an electric cargo bike to use as a second car alternative, or a family bike for transporting your precious cargo, we've got something for you to try. The Canberra Electric Bike Library is a project run by SEE Change and Switched on Cycles, and is supported by the ACT Government. Bike Buses

The West Belconnen Bike Bus is an initiative of Belconnen SEE Change and Canberra By Bike. It is a chance for community members to join in a social, fun, cost-effective, and environmentally way to commute from homes in West Belconnen to workplaces in the National Triangle. The Bike Bus will start at Kippax Shops, and run through Belconnen town centre, University of Canberra, ANU, and civic, finishing in Barton. This gives people the option to bike ride to work or school in a group, and will be running once a month (first Monday of the month).
