Discover the butterflies’ wild garden with Dr Suzi Bond (ANU)

Join SEE Change Gungahlin and Suzi Bond, author of Field Guide to the Butterflies of the Australian Capital Territory on a wild ramble through Gungahlin’s butterfly country.

Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve sustains a thriving ecological community of plants and animals and is the perfect classroom to identify various local butterfly species.

Like many native creatures, butterflies are under threat from ever-increasing habitat destruction. Suzi is the perfect teacher to show us how to create a habitat haven for butterflies in our own backyards by planting their tastiest treats.

Suzi will have a few copies of her field guide available for purchase on the day.

Bring: your camera, binoculars, hat and water bottle.

Tickets are $5:
