Frogs of Gungahlin Talk and Walk

  • Gungahlin Valley Ponds (map)

Join the Gungahlin SEE-Change group and learn about the frogs that inhabit our local environment and how to create a frog-friendly habitat in your own backyard. Ginninderra Catchment Group Frogwatch Coordinator (ACT & Region) Anke Maria Hoefer will lead us in a talk about local frog species and their habitats, followed by a walk around the Gungahlin Valley Ponds where you’ll learn how to identify the calls of some of our local frog species and why frogs are so important for our eco-systems. You’ll also get to connect with other frog enthusiasts in your local community.
