Green Drinks

  • King OMalleys Irish Pub (map)

Green Drinks Canberra is a monthly event for socialising and professional networking, created for those interested in environmental sustainability and eco-efficiency.

Tuesday 3 September 2024
Guest talk: Giorgia Dalla Libera Marchiori (ANU Planetary Healthy Equity Hothouse)

Addressing Planetary Health Inequities: from describing symptoms to investigating the root causes
Giorgia (Gio) Dalla Libera Marchiori is a health scientist by formation and a systems thinker by passion. She previously worked in health research and with different NGOs in global health and sustainability. In 2023, she joined the Planetary Healthy Equity Hothouse at ANU as a PhD scholar. Her research investigates why philanthropic organizations support certain types of health research, and what could steer such large wealth towards research priorities that address the drivers of the current planetary health inequities.
