Sustainable House, Garden and Local Lunch in MORUYA

  • 52 Evans Street Moruya, NSW, 2537 Australia (map)

Tour a sustainable solar passive one bedroom house designed and built by empty nesters, Peter Daniell and Edwina Robinson. Listen to Edwina talk about what worked well and what we'd do differently in the future. Explore the courtyard, food gardens, chook tractor, new food forest, water-harvesting and new native micro-forest on the 2000 sqm block.

We’ll then visit the organic market garden next door set on 3000 sqm. Market gardener, Andrew Baker will have purple garlic for sale - harvested at the beginning of November. You’ll also meet Buster, the charismatic West Highland Terrier. Visit the 10 year old SAGE Project and hear about their community projects around food security and food sovereignty. A vegetarian lunch of local produce will also be on offer on the day.
