No Waste Cooking

Come and mark World Food Day (16 October) with the WasteLess group of SEE Change and the Canberra Food Co-op. We are holding a No-Waste Cooking event at the Co-op on 15th October, to show us how we can reduce food waste in the meals we prepare, and to reuse left-overs in tasty and safe ways.

The session will be very hands-on and we will be guided by Poppy, a Coop volunteer and talented and enthusiastic cook, during a fun afternoon in which we’ll prepare a mixture of sweet and savoury dishes.  Then we’ll relax before the end of the session and enjoy the results of our tasty creations. Bring your “doggy box” so you can take some home.

The event will be conducted on Sunday 15th October, from 1.30 to 4.30pm at the Co-op, at 3 Kingsley Street, ACTON.

Tickets are available here

The cost is $25 for SEE Change members, $35 for non-members, plus Humanitix fee, and numbers will be strictly limited, so register soon on and don’t miss out.  If you would like to become a member of SEE Change, head to our website here. Membership is $10 annually for unwaged and $25 annually for waged.

Enquiries can be directed to the Wasteless Coordinator at wasteless@seechange.org.au
