Partner Event: Learn about Climate Change with Climate Fresk

  • Canberra Environment Centre Cnr Lennox Crossing and Lawson Crescent Acton, ACT, 2601 Australia (map)

This event is hosted by the Canberra Environment Centre. The Climate Fresk is a fun, scientific, educational, collaborative, and creative climate workshop based on 42 cards. The participants draw a “Fresk” (French for Collage) summarising a snapshot of climate change as it is happening around the world. The workshop draws on participants’ knowledge and curiosity to build a picture of the effects and drivers of climate change. The workshop uses climate research that has been reported by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and is suitable for any level of knowledge about climate change.

This is a perfect opportunity to share and to learn knowledge about what's happening now on our beautiful planet.

The Climate Fresk is a French non-profit organisation founded in December 2018 whose aim is to raise public awareness about climate change, they run workshops for everyone, all around the world.

Cost: $10 donation to The Canberra Environment Centre. If you are unable to pay the ticket price please contact us for a different arrangement.
