Upcycling has never looked so chic!
Join us for this fabulous upcycling, mending & refashioning workshop with the very talented Anat Onn! Anat is a fashion designer and sewing goddess with a strong focus on ethical, accessible fashion, repairing, upcycling and alterations. Anat completed her Fashion/Apparel Design degree in 2020, where she created the Onn Wheels range, designed for people in wheelchairs to make fashion more accessible.

Where: East Hall, Downer Community Centre, 6 Frencham Pl, Downer
What to bring: Old t-shirts, broken zips, incomplete sewing projects etc.
Cost: $5 for members, $10 for non-members. Tickets available here.
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn how to fix or mend zippers, use sewing patterns to hand-make your own clothes, turn worn-out shirts into yarn for those fun DIY projects, and so much more! Anat will also share some of the amazing fashion/design projects she has been working on.
So bring your old shirts and incomplete sewing projects in need of some guidance, and join in this fun & fabulous community skills-sharing workshop!
