The topic of Tuggeranong’s next meet up is: ‘Gardening in the Anthropocene’. Our guest speaker, Ben Taylor from Good Ground Horticulture, will introduce us to the emerging theory that we have entered the Anthropocene, a new epoch in Earth’s history that is characterised by Humanity’s far reaching impact on the living world.
In the light of this shift we will look at examples on how we can garden in sustainable ways that are both resilient and regenerative to our gardens and local environment as we move further into this century. We will also discuss plans for a Repair Cafe and a Spring Sustainability Festival.
