Living Streets Canberra meeting

The ACT Legislative Assembly's Inquiry into the effectiveness of Fix My Street has been in the local media over the last week. Living Streets Canberra appeared at the Inquiry's Hearings. We were also interviewed by ABC Canberra News and Drive Program and by WIN News Canberra (watch on our Facebook or Instagram). Coming out of that Inquiry is another Inquiry: into the provision of Municipal Infrastructure.

Want to help make our environment for walking safer, more accessible, convenient and comfortable? Join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, 21 October at 6-7pm, online.

This meeting’s areas of focus:
🎯 Planning more ‘walkshops’. Next is likely to be in Manuka. We would like to have at least one in each district of Canberra. Is there a specific spot that would you like the walking environment assessed for what it’s like, what works and what doesn’t work?
🎯 Planning our submission for the Inquiry into Provision of Municipal Infrastructure.
🎯 Our website. What would you like to see on it? How could it be improved?
