Plastics & Circular Economy webinar

Our world is drowning in plastic. The IUCN reports that over 460 million metric tons of plastic are produced globally every year, with production having doubled in the last two decades. Around half of this plastic is designed for single-use, leading to massive waste. What's even worse is that fossil fuel companies are planning way to increase plastic use to offset declines in their markets from rising renewables.

The ACT Government is currently seeking comments on a discussion paper on Problematic Products and Single Use Plastic Reduction, so now is a good time push hard for effective action to reduce the impacts of plastic and build a circular economy.

Join this discussion on plastics and the circular economy with Lisa Maclean, the CEO of Circular Australia and Peter LeCornu, Convenor of SEE-Change's WasteLess Group.
