Upcoming Events Across Canberra
Hughes Repair Cafe
Hughes repair cafe is held at Hughes Community Centre, on the second Saturday of the month from 10am-1pm.
Pop-up repair cafe
A showcase of Canberra’s repair cafes, bringing together repairers from SEE Change’s four cafes.
A repair café is a community event where broken items are fixed by volunteer repairers. Visitors are given the opportunity to be shown how their items can be fixed, and can learn new skills in the process. Broken items are kept out of landfill, and are given a new lease of life. The repairing is free, however additional parts, if required, are not included.
Likely repairs: electrical items, clothing, jewelry, garden equipment, bikes and scooters, toys and wooden items, laptops, and phones. Check our socials the day before to confirm that these repairs will be available on the day.
No need to book.
Brought to you by SEE Change and Woden Library.
Tuggeranong Repair Cafe
Bring along broken items, clothes and appliances to the repair café so they can be fixed and saved from landfill. Held on the last Sunday of each month, run by the Tuggeranong See Change group.
Toolbox repair cafe
A repair cafe is a community event where volunteers repair items for people, while sharing skills. Tools are supplied by repairers and we have very limited supplies. If your repair needs parts, please bring them with you. Repairers can help with diagnosis and to determine which parts are required.
