SEE-Change Woden Local Group Meeting
Contact: Woden SEE-Change
Email: woden@see-change.org.au
Cost: Free
The Woden SEE Change Committee seeks volunteers to join our friendly group.
We have wide ranging interests in making the Canberra community more sustainable and a common love of (sometimes passionate) discussions of a similarly wide range of issues. All the formal office bearing positions are covered so we ask only that you share your passion for sustainability with us.
Our monthly meetings are currently 7-9pm on the third Monday of the each month but we are nothing if not flexible!
Contact the Woden Convener for details of the next meeting.

Jerrabomberra Wetlands

Cost: Free
We also weed and water recent plantings. Wear long pants and enclosed shoes and bring drinking water.
Layers of clothes work best in our changeable climate and you may need sun protection
Please Note: the Wetlands Education Centre, also called the Wetlands offices, is at 2 Dairy Road, Fyshwick. It is a small group of low buildings on the left. You need to drive past the two big Wetlands Foreshore vertical signs labelled Entrance 1 and Entrance 2 on them (an industrial estate) and continue on down Dairy Rd for approximately 300m until you see the open gate on the left. If you reach the end of the road by the public carpark you’ve gone too far. We’re up the ramp of the building on the right. There will generally be cars parked outside.
